Forty jawans were reportedly killed in suicide bomber attack in Jammu & Kashmir and several other injured moved to Shrinagar hospital. A car carrying 350 kg of explosives rammed into a CRPF convoy in Awantipora town of Pulwama district on Thursday. This is said to be worst attacks since the 2001 J & K legislative assembly car bombing.
The attack was carried out by Pakistan backed Jaish-e-Mohammed. Home Minister Rajanath Singh assured people of the country that a strong reply will be given.
