AP Government Defers on Capital Decision

CM YS Jagan government has deferred from their announcement of three capitals. Amaravati people have been protesting on roads. Women and children too staged dharna against YSRCP Government’s decision. People attacked some media channels for referring to the protestors as paid artistes. CM Jagan held cabinet ministers meeting today. Minister Perni Nani said that CM just gave an idea that there could be three capitals according to committee report.

Opposition alleged that Jagan and his ministers lack clarity and are confusing public with new announcement every day. It is said that government backed off from their announcement due to public furore. Learning from intelligence about backlash over CM’s announcement and people’s outrage, government apparently postponed the decision. Nani said that the decision would be taken after analysis report from Boston survey team. Opposition alleges that the government is waiting for protests to cool down and hence postponed the announcement.
