Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Andhra Pradesh on Sunday. Its PM’s first time visit to AP after TDP withdraw support from NDA. Modi will visit Guntur, Tiruppur and Raichur on Sunday.
As per schedule, PM will address a public rally called ”Praja Chaitanya Sabha” at Etukuru bypass road near Guntur at around 10 am. He will lay the foundation-stone for the construction of a coastal terminal of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited at Krishnapatnam in Nellore and inaugurate the Visakhapatnam Strategic Petroleum Reserve.
TDP, Congress and Left parties are protesting against Modi’s visit for not keeping election promises made to the state. Special category status, Vizag railway zone, granting funds for buiding of new capital are some of the mature demands.
Hoarding and flexis with ‘Go Back Modi’ slogans are set up all over Guntur.
CM Chandrababu Naidu said that it is blackday for the state. “Is he coming to see the injustice done to AP by his government. Can he face the fury of Telugu people. He is neither Gandhi nor so honest. Rafael scam is shame to the nation,” said Naidu.
