Cast: Nani, Sai Pallavi, Bhumika Chawla, Rajeev Kanakala, Vijay Varma
Director: Venu Sriram
Music: Devi Sri Prasad
DOP: Sameer Reddy
Producer: Dil Raju
Banner: Sri Venkateswara Creations
Story:
Nani is happy-go-lucky MCA freaking out with friends with out responsibility. His expenses are bared by brother Rajeev Kankala. His life turns upside down with brother getting married to Jyothi (Bhumika Chawla). She who’s a RTO officer gets transferred to Warangal and Nani has to move along with her as help. Bhumika being a workaholic officer and strict troubles Siva (Vijay Varma) who runs a mafia of private buses. The rest of the story forms how Nani interferes in the fight between Bhumika and the local goon.
Screenplay:
The film lacks punch with redundant scenes and lags. Lethargic treatment by director Sriram Venu in the second half is beating around bushes. Nani’s magical essence is missing. Lack of content filled with song and dance sequences. Bland second half with shallow scenes, emotions not carried as much.
Performance:
Nani comes up with a power-packed performance. He will definitely get more close to the commercial audience with this film. His chemistry with ‘Fidaa’ beauty Sai Pallavi is pleasing to eyes. Pallavi’s energetic dances needs no mention. Actress Bhumika makes a perfect comeback and she deserves all applause for her role. Rajeev Kanakala, Priyadarshi and Vennela Kishore are okay in their roles.
Technically:
Being from ‘Dil’ Raju banner, the film has great production values. The songs are shot beautifully and DoP did an excellent job. Devi Sri Prasad’s music is different unlike his previous in the recent times. A special mention needed for the dialogues. Common audience will instantly get connected to them. Choreography is too good.
Bottom-line: Be Careful With This Middle Class Abbayi
