2.0 audio launch event held yesterday in Dubai had been a spectacular show. The album consisted of two songs. Both are heavy on electronic music in line with the sci-fi theme of the film. First track ‘Yanthara Lokapu Sundarive’ is a romantic one, the tune is melodious and groovy at the same time. It has got some witty lyrics like ‘Nee Bus Ki Conductor Nene’ and ‘Naa Cable Lo Jeevam Nuvve’.
Second track ‘Randali’ crooned by Blaaze, Arjun Chandy & Nivas is jazzier with more usage of saxophone and metallic guitar. Lyrics bit tough to catch up with since music is loud and dominating. AR Rahman has given both the songs to the taste of director Shankar. Rahman had performed third song live at 2.0 audio launch event, it is yet to be rolled out. Villain’s BGM was also unveiled on the occasion.
Bollywood star Akshay Kumar plays the baddie in this extravagant action thriller. Apparently, Superstar Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson will be seen as robots romancing each other.
