2.0 audio was launched in a grand event held in Dubai on Friday. AR Rahman composed songs are getting rave reviews. Director Shankar revealed that the film will be on par with any Hollywood sci-fi action thriller. He also disclosed that the duration is only 140 minutes, it is shortest ever Shankar movie. Superstar Rajinikanth will be seen combating Bollywood star Akshay Kumar in this magnum opus made at mammoth budget of 400 crore by Lyca Productions. 2.0 was scheduled for release on Januarya 25th.
As per latest update the film is likely to be postponed. Akshay Kumar’s another film titled ‘Padman’ has been confirmed for release on January 26th on the occasion of Republic Day. This hints that 2.0 could be pushed to a further date. If the grapevine is anything to go by 2.0 will be releasing only in Summer, to be more specific it would be on April 12th. Shankar is leaving no stone unturned to make 2.0 into a visual wonder. Top-notch technicians are working on VFX. 2.0 will have fullfledge 3D release. Obviously, the film may take some more time to fulfill the fans imagination.
