Sai Dharam Tej’s Jawaan first weekend collections have been pretty decent. The patriotic film directed by BVS Ravi grossed Rs 13.50 crore worldwide in three days. Jawaan collected Rs 6.10 crore gross on the release day. Sai Dharam Tej’s previous films Winner and Supreme collected better on day 1 with 9 crore and 6.50 crore gross respectively.
Winner collected Rs 16.30 crore gross in first weekend while Supreme collected Rs 15.30 crore. Jawaan falls short of beating Sai Dharam’s previous record. Jawaan has earned distributor share of 7.85 crore in three days. It has to go long way to breach profit mark for distributors. Jawaan’s theatrical rights were sold for Rs 18 crores. Moreover, Piracy is worrying Jawaan makers. On Sunday, BVS Ravi fired on piracy culprits. On the other hand, Gopichand’s Oxygen and Vijay Anthony’s Indrasena are performing miserably weak at box-office.
