TDP announces break up with BJP. Finance minister Arun Jaitley has denied granting special category status to Andhra Pradesh. Arun Jaitley said that sentiments do not define the quantum of funds. Further he added that GDP contribution by states doesn’t define allocation of funds to states. Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu held emergency conference at Amaravathi head quarter. He demanded center to grant special status to AP. He announced that TDP is withdrawing support from BJP. Naidu said that he asked two of his party’s central ministers Ashok Ganapathi Raju and Sujana Chowdary to resign from cabinet. The ministers will be offering their resignations tomorrow.
