Arjun Reddy had been a smash hit in Telugu with Vijay Deverakonda playing a ill tempered medico and a heart-broken druggie. Shahid Kapoor is set to reprise the role in Bollywood remake of the film. Remake rights have been bagged for Rs 7 crore. Sandeep Reddy Vanga will direct the remake as well and it will be bankrolled by Ashwin Varde and Murad Khetani. Arjun Reddy’s Tamil remake is under production introducing hero Vikram’s son Dhruv.
