Its a serious waning from NASA – National Aeronautics and Space Administration, USA. Scorching summer is already here, but on Sunday, May 6th, temperatures will be manifolds higher as Sun gets much hotter according to the report released by NASA.
A massive solar storm or geomagnetic storm is likely to hit earth due opening up of three coronal holes on such resulting in ejection of huge amount of cosmic particles towards earth, say experts.
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) also has released a statement in this regard. It says that G1-class geomagnetic storms are possible when the gaseous material arrives.
The high radiation may cause cancers, so people are asked to stay at home and avoid being exposed to sun. People are also asked to stay away from power stations and transformers as there is chance of them blowing up due to radiation. Tech blackout is also expected due to shock waves of the magnetic storm due to interference with satellite signals, which means that mobile networks, GPS and Televisions may not work.
