In a tragic incident a boat carrying 60 people capsized in Godavari river on Tuesday evening. Reportedly, 20 people survived swimming to the shore while 40 are still missing. The victims are all tribals belonging to Kondareddi community. They were returning from Varapalli weekly fair market. At about 4 pm, the boat overturned having caught in heavy currents. Officials have found the boat and search is on for missing people.
