Until recently KCR created hungama by meeting national leaders like Kolkata CM Mamata Banerjee and others to form Federal Front to fight against BJP & Congress in 2019 elections.
Telangana CM has criticized PM Narendra Modi’s policies on many occasions. With mere 17 Lok Sabha seats, forget about becoming PM, he may not even get the due recognition at national level amid tall leaders like Mulayam Singh, Deve Gowda etc. So KCR seems to have taken U turn, opine political analysts.
KCR meeting PM Narendra Modi today also further inflates this theory. The possible alliance between TRS and BJP has taken centerstage of political debates in the state. Perhaps, TRS spokesperson denied these ideas. Reportedly, KCR met Modi to discuss pending issues in the state since bifurcation.
Zonal system proposed by the state, Central funds for Kaleshwaram project & separate High Court for Telangana are the three main agendas in the meeting. Besides, KCR also sought Modi to grant defence land for building new state secretariat, Information Technology Investment Region (ITIR), Setting up IIM and IIIT in Karimnagar and new railway lines are other demands in the list.
