As known, Telugu couple Kishan Modugumudi alias Sreeraj Chennupati, Raju and his wife Chandrakala Purnima alias Vebha Jayam have been arrested by Chicago Police in USA for allegedly running prostitution racket.
The couple invited Telugu actresses for events in the US and engaged them into prostitution with NRIs. Criminal complaint has been filed and the case is under trial at a magistrate court. Here we have the copy of the complaint.
According to it, the couple processed B1/B2 visas for the victim actresses with the help of event invitation letters from Telugu associations like TANA, TPAD, TASK and NATA. Actress Sri Reddy who have been protesting over casting couch has named few actresses’ names in US prostitution racket. The rumoured list of victim actresses includes Pranitha, Regina, Pragya Jaiswal, Madhavi latha, Anisha Ambrose, Vimala Raman, Pinky, Anchor Lasya, Bindhu madhavi and Anchor Srimukhi. These names are doing rounds in social media. It may be a mere speculation with no authenticity.
They requested or forced the actresses to engage in prostitution charging $1000 and above from the customers. The charge increases for additional hours and number of times they indulge in sex. What is more shocking is that the couple set different prices for South Indian girls and North Indian girls. Excerpts of the conversations and whatsapp chats are also attached.
