Tirumala former chief priest Ramana Deekshitulu alleged that pink diamond from TTD jewellery trove has been missing and suspected that the diamond auctioned in Geneva was the same. TTD has lodged defamation case against Deekshitulu for 100 crores. TDP leaders questioned Deekshitulu’s honesty.
The priest has been there since previous government which was when the jewellery had been missing. Then TTD chairman Karunakara Reddy was a atheist who as a student leader used to garland deities with chappals, all the corruption happened during his congress regime, alleges TDP.
Instead of Deekshitulu complaining then itself, he’s revealing it now after his term ended which is ironical, mocked a TDP leader. In support of Deekshitulu, Pawan Kalyan said that TDP was in opposition then and so the party must be aware of missing jewellery . YSRCP’s Vijay Sai Reddy alleged that missing jewellery can be found in Chandrababu Naidu’s houses in Hyderabad and Amaravati.
Latest update is that TTD Chairman P Sudhakar Yadav along with members have inspected Tirumala temple and Lord Venkateswara’s jewellery. Yadav declared that the pink diamond is not lost. It was a ruby that has broken but not lost, said he.
