Controversial film critic Kathi Mahesh is back in headlines. On Monday many web portals have published that Mahesh would be joining YSR Congress Party soon and would contest the 2019 elections on YSRCP’s ticket.
However, Mahesh took it on his official Twitter handle and issued a clarification. He added that he is related no political party and deliberate attempts are being by his haters to portray him as anti-Hindu.
నా అభిప్రాయాలను వాళ్ళ రాజకీయ ప్రయోజనాలకోసం రచ్చచేయడంతో పాటు. ఇప్పుడు నన్ను ఒక పార్టీకి ఆపాదించి,హిందూ వ్యతిరేక ముద్ర వెయ్యాలని చూస్తున్నారు. నేను ప్రస్తుతం ఏపార్టీకి చెందును. ఇవి నా వ్యక్తిగత అభిప్రాయలేగానీ. ఏపార్టీకి సంబంధించినవి కావు.

But Mahesh did not comment on anything about entering politics or contesting the next general elections.
