Filmmakers seem to be bitten by biopics bug. Sanju struck box-office as a tsunami. After Mahanati, NTR and YSR biopics are being made. Vidya Balan has been confirmed for the role of Basavatarakam, wife of NTR in the biopic directed by Krish.
Vidya said that other south filmmakers too approached her for several biopics including Jayalalitha biopic. The 39-year-old beauty said she was keen to act in Indira Gandhi biopic planned by a Bollywood filmmaker. She’s said to have received threatening calls not to sign the project and so withdrawn the idea.
