YS Jagan attacker Srinivas has been interrogated by National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday. Srinivas is accused for knife assault on Jagan at Vizag airport in October. Srinivas has been in NIA custody since Saturday noon at Madhapur office. NIA has studied Srinivas’ mobile phone calls.
Reportedly, the NIA officials questioned Srinivas if he attacked Jagan to impress is girlfriends as he had conversation with them before committing the offence. NIA is also likely to quiz Srinivas female friends. He was grilled by NIA for seven hours to find the reason behind the attack and to know if there is any larger conspiracy behind it. Earlier, Vizag police claimed that Srinivas attacked Jagan for instant popularity.
On the other hand, a letter written by Srinivas explaining about the attack has gone missing, says his defence lawyer Matta Jayakar.
