The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is on its way to emerge as the single largest party in Karnataka. The counting is underway and the BJP seems to have a clear over Congress and JD (secular) parties.
If the trend continues, BJP is likely to form government without the help of any party despite the exit polls predicting a hung assembly.
