Andhra Pradesh CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu kick-started Dharma Porata Deeksha, hunger strike protest seeking justice for state on the occasion of his birthday today. Naidu and other TDP leaders sat on fasting in Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium from 7 am and it will be concluded by 7pm tonight.
The protest caught national attention for Naidu being the CM of the state. It is to pressurize NDA led center to grant special status to Andhra Pradesh. MLAs, MPs and other district leaders gathered at the venue. Nandamuri Balakrishna, Nara Lokesh also were present. Star turned politician Kamal Haasan made an interesting tweet wishing Chandrababu Naidu on the occasion of his birthday.
