Kajal Aggarwal has filed a petition in Tamilnadu High Court over the VVD coconut oil company. Kajal has done an endorsement to this company at the beginning of her career.
She has filed a case on the company for using her Advertisement for Years. As a compensation, she has asked for a huge amount of 2.5 Crores.
The court has stricken off the case and stated that V.V.D. & Sons was entitled to use the commercial film for a period of 60 years, as per the Section 26 of the Copyright Act of 1957, as they happen to be the first owner of the material (ad).
