Telangana IT minister KTR inaugurated BMT unit at Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital, Jubilee Hills Hyderabad. Hospital chairman and trustee Nandamuri Balakrishna presided the event.
Speaking on the occasion KTR said,”Government and private hospitals should work hand in hand to create awareness among common people about cancer. Doctors and celebs should come together to run such campaigns. Cancer patients doesn’t have to lose hope with the availability of latest medical facilities. We will propose a GO to give tax exemption hospitals, trusts and charity providing treatment on nominal fee basis.”
KTR congratulated Balakrishna and revealed that he is his favorite star. Balakrishna said,”KCR has named his son taking inspiration from our father’s name.”
