Despite the Karnataka High Court ruling in favor of ‘Kaala’ movie, theatres in the state did not screen the movie on Thursday. Not even a single show was hosted even though the police were deployed at certain theatres.
Kannada Rakshana Vedike (KRV) held strong protests in Karnataka and threatened the theatre owners. The morning and afternoon shows were completed cancelled at all the places.
Cauvery river is the prime reason behind this. Rajinikanth extended his support for Tami Nadu state’s argument and his backfired. Fans of Rajini were disappointed with the shows getting called off.
