Versatile actor Mohan Babu starrer Gayatri is progressing at brisk pace. The film is being directed by Madan of ‘Pellaina Kothalo’ fame. Interesting buzz on the movie is that Mohan Babu will be seen as both hero and villain. Apparently, we will get to see Mohan Babu in a powerful roles like his popular iconic characters like Pedarayudu and Rayalaseema Ramanna Chowdary. The film is also said to have father – daughter sentiment. Nikhila Vimal of ‘Meda Meedha Abbayi’ fame will be seen as Mohan Babu’s daughter in the film. Anasuya plays a reporter in this film.
Reportedly, two shooting schedules have been wrapped. A grand song with over 1000 junior artistes was recently shot in Tirupati. The dance number featuring Mohan Babu was choreographed by Bollywood ace choreographer Ganesh Acharya. SS Thaman composed a peppy track titled ‘Jai Jai Hanuma’. Baahubali beauties Scarlett Wilson & Madhu Sneha will be seen matching steps with Mohan Babu in this song. Gayatri is tentatively scheduled for release on February 9th.
