Naga Chaitanya Akkineni’s web series “Dootha” is getting ready for its OTT release. The series has been in production for several months, and there were concerns that Amazon had abandoned it at one point. However, the latest reports indicate that “Dootha” is now gearing up for its OTT release.
It’s well known that Naga Chaitanya and Vikram K. Kumar collaborated on the film “Thank You,” which didn’t perform well at the box office. Before the film’s release, they had already worked together on the web series “Dootha.” In this series, Chaitanya will be seen in a negative role, and the shooting was completed some time ago.
Amazon Prime Video has secured the rights to the series, and now, finally, “Dootha” is preparing for its OTT release. Dubbing is in progress for various languages, with Chaitanya reportedly dubbing for both Telugu and Tamil versions. The web series is scheduled for release on December 1st this year.
Fans were disheartened due to the lack of updates about the series, but it has now received a positive update, and an official OTT debut date will be announced soon.
The first season of “Dootha” is expected to consist of eight episodes, each with a runtime of approximately 40 minutes. The final version is currently being prepared, and Amazon will commence its promotional activities once the quality control checks are completed.
