8 years ago sensational kidnap and murder of 10-year-old girl Nag Vaishnavi in Vijayawada. Today, Women Sessions Court sentenced the 3 accused Morla Srinivas Rao, Jagadeesh, and Venkata Rao life imprisonment till death. Srinivas is brother of Prabhakar’s first wife.
Nag Vaishnavi, the daughter of popular liquor businessman and BC leader Palagani Prabhakar Goud. She was kidnapped and murdered on January 30, 2010 on her way to school. She was strangled to death and her mortal remains were thrown into a boiler. Prabhakar died of heart attack learning about her death.
