We’ve seen Pawan Kalyan as fanciful god giving Bhagwadgita, Bible and Quran to atheist Venkatesh in the film ‘Gopala Gopala’. Power star claims to follow the same secularist ideology in real life. Pawan visited a church in Bhimavaram on Sunday. He participated in a prayer and took blessings of fosters.
Speaking on the occasion, Pawan said,”Our father used to keep bible in our Pooja room along with other gods. I come from a family which respects all religions and sacred books. I get inspired by bible and Jesus preachings. That is the reason why I could understand problems of everyone. My daughter has been christened as Polina by a father at a church Saint Petersberg.”
Earlier there were speculations that Pawan wanted to play the role of Jesus in a film. However, it never took off.
