Actor and writer Posani Krishna Murali has hit back at Telugu Desam Party MLC Rajendra Prasad who criticised the Telugu film industry for not speaking up against special status to Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking to the media Posani said, “Why did the state government detain people who protested in favour of special status? It is the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh who changed his stand on the special status in the last four years. Film industry people are not slaves to nod to the whims of political leaders.”
Filmmaker Tammareddy Bharadwaj too countered Rajendra Prasad’s comments.
