Rakul Preet Singh is getting trolled on social media for sharing her pics in which she’s seen wearing denim shorts. Most of the trolls consist of sleazy sexist comments objectifying her for flaunting her thighs while some conservative guys indulged in moral policing questioning her cultural ethics in wearing skimpy outfits.
Rakul retorted with a strong counter tweet,”Well for people questioning my ethics why don’t you speak up when women are objectified and I’ve chosen my words only to make such #sickminds realise that they have a family too and how would they feel if the same is done to them ! I am sure his mother would give him a slap too🙏”
This didn’t stop the trolls any bit but further provoked them. Twitterati trolled Rakul for pulling families and mothers into the matter in counter attacking the troller. One of it read that Rakul is making these comments craving for publicity as she neither has movies on hand nor does she have brand endorsements. Another one wrote, Rakul did many roles that objectified women that she shouldn’t have accepted in first place.
Meanwhile, actor – director Rahul Ravindran stood by Rakul in support and became focus of trollers.
