It appears that Samantha Ruth Prabhu might have retaliated against remarks made by producer Chittibabu about her career in the aftermath of Shaakuntalam’s disappointing box office performance.
Chittibabu had implied that Samantha’s days as a “star heroine” were over and that she was resorting to “cheap tactics” to promote her films.
Nonetheless, Samantha has seemingly responded to Chittibabu’s comments in an Instagram Stories post that has since expired. She posted a screenshot of a Google search result about increased testosterone causing hair growth in ears, accompanied by the hashtag “IYKYK (If you know, you know)”. Fans have interpreted this as a jab at Chittibabu.

According to reports, Shaakuntalam incurred losses of Rs 20 crore, as it was produced on a budget of around Rs 60 crore and was sold to a streaming giant for Rs 35 crore.
Producers Dil Raju and Gunasekhar also suffered losses of more than Rs 20 crore when they were unable to secure satellite rights deals for television streaming.
