Srikanth Kidambi becomes world No. 1 Badminton champion. Telugu ace shuttler has been ranked No. 1 by Badminton World Federation (BWF) on Thursday. He’s the first male and second Indian badminton player to climb to the top while Saina Nehwal is the first to become World No. 1 in 2015.

Srikanth Kidambi replaced Denmark’s ace badminton player Viktor Axelsen with 76,895 points in men’s singles category. Srikanth Kidambi is the disciple of ace badminton champ Pullela Gopichand. Srikanth Kidambi has been honoured with Padma Shri and Arjuna Award by Govt of India.
