The Telugu Film Industry has finally extended its support to the special category status to the state of Andhra Pradesh. A delegation led by director K Raghavendra Rao met Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday in Vijayawada.
Producers Ashwini Dutt, Gemini Kiran and others were part of this delegation. All the members wore black ribbon as a mark of protest called by the AP CM.
TFI had remained silent on category status for a while. However, with the public outrage growing, they have come out in full support.
