NTR biopic has become hot topic in Film Nagar circles. As was reported, Balakrishna will playing his father in the film titled ‘NTR’ in the direction of Teja and it will roll on floors from February. Apparently, the story will showcase NTR’s glorious rise in filmdom and politics. Buzz has it that the film will have roles of NTR’s contemporaries like ANR, MGR, Sivaji Ganesan, Shobhan Babu, Kannada Rajkumar and Raj Kapoor. Coming to politics, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu is obvious to have a significant role also being his son-in-law.
Grapevine is that Teja has approached Jagapathi Babu to play Naidu in the biopic. NBK also is keen on Jagapathi since he worked with him in Legend. Though Jagapathi has been a hero, of late he has been doing more of villain roles. Kalyan Ram is likely to appear in cameo as his father Harikrishna.
On the other hand, Ram Gopal Varma has stirred controversy with his Lakshmi’s NTR. It is speculated that RGV’s disciple and actor JD Chakravarthy is playing Chandrababu Naidu. Though Varma denied these reports, sources close to the director reiterate that Chakravarthy is indeed playing the son-in-law’s role. Chakravarthy also has been appearing as villain in his recent movies. In the wake of opposition parties often alleging that Naidu backstabbed his father-in-law NTR, isn’t there a chance of people thinking that he could be shown in grey shade going by the actor selection?
