PSV Garuda Vega has garnered positive word of mouth, but the film’s collections are not that great. Cricits have given the film thumbs up with decent ratings. However, PSV Garuda Vega needs to earn nearly 25 crore to achieve break even.
Rajasekhar has wept in the pre-release event that he had to take loans to complete the film as the budget bloated. It has been claimed that VFV works have costed them heavily. Film Nagar buzz is that makers have inflated the budget. Though PSV Garuda Vega has stunning visuals of Hollywood style, it could be made at a budget of 15+ crores feel Filmy folks. They doubt if Rajasekhar had boasted that the budget just to create hype or attract some sympathy.
It also being said that he had sold a flat just before film’s release to settle debts. Praveen Sattaru has shaped the film into decent action thriller in limited budget. The film has potential to be a super hit. But Rajasekhar’s track record of failures has meddled Garuda Vega’s box-office performance. It has to be seen how the film fares on Sunday and coming days.
