Senior actress Sumalatha is likely to make her political debut and she is expected to contest the Karnataka assembly elections. Sumalatha’s husband Ambarish is already in active politics but he might give way for his best half as his health condition is not up to the mark.
If things fall in place, Sumalatha will contest on behalf of Congress party from Mandya constituency. Her political entry is confirmed by the party and very soon her name will be announced.
Karnataka elections are scheduled next month.
