Karnataka potboiler spices up

Political drama in Karnataka are no less than a commercial potboiler. Initially BJP was expected to form government with landslide victory as per result trends. By the conclusion of counting, no party got majority like an interval bang. Congress has offered CM chair to HD Kumar Swamy and planned an alliance with JDS to keep BJP away from rule.
Then there were reports of split in JDS with Ravanna and co supporting BJP as he was offered deputy CM. However, Kumar Swamy and Ravanna held meeting together today denying the rumours. JDS leaders are held captive in a resort to keep them safe from BJP’s reach. Kumar Swamy alleged that BJP has offered 100 crore bribe to their MLAs and also ministry. BJP spokesperson Prakash Javadekar has refuted these allegations.
BJP now stands at 105, it needs 9 more seats to prove their majority. Grapevine is that some senior Congress leaders are planning to jump into BJP as they have differences with Siddharamaiah. Some of them are said to be absconding and not responding to high commands calls. One of the independent MLA is also on his way to BJP. Last year despite getting less seats BJP managed to come to power in Manipur and Goa with backdoor politics.
With comfortable number 105, they will not leave a stone to form government in Karnataka, feel political analysts. Moreover, governor Vajubhai Vala is loyal to BJP and PM Narendra Modi. So, he will give all possible chances for the party. In that case, congress party is planning to move Supreme Court asking for stay.
