Yesterday, May 4th has been named as ‘Director’s Day’ after Late Dasari Narayana Rao garu as its his birth anniversary. His statue has been unveiled at film nagar on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion veteran actor and MP Murali Mohan demanded Bharat Ratna and Dada Saheb Phalke be conferred upon Dasari for his services to the art of cinema. Murali Mohan said that he will fight for the same on behalf of industry in the Parliament.
