Vishnu Manchu seems to have started scouting locations for his dream project ‘Kannappa Katha’. The actor – filmmaker will be playing the role of Bhakta Kannappa, an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva.
Veteran actor – writer Tanikella Bharani has been preparing the script for the film. Earlier, Vishnu hinted at possible collaboration with a Hollywood production house in making the film. Apparently, he is planning a magnum opus with a whopping budget.
Kannappa being a tribal hunter, the film will be set in forest backdrop. It has got a wide scope for adventurous action and a lot of VFX. The film will be made into multi-languages to cash in on its universal content. Vishnu seems to have kick-started the pre-production works. He is currently in Poland in hunt for locations.
