Baahubali’s behemoth success has made it into a huge brand. Cashing on the franchise, Arka Media has launched cartoon series, graphic comic books and released a novel titled ‘The Rise of Sivagami’, written by Anand Neelakantan. Now, the makers are set to roll out a web series based on the novel.
It will be a three-season format to be streamed on Netflix. It will be prequel exploring life of Sivagami Devi and her rise as a queen. Kattappa’s role will have significance in it. SS Rajamouli himself will be helming the webseries. Deva Katta who has penned the powerful war speech of Prabhas will also be directing some episodes of the series.
