Actress Ileana D’Cruz shocked her fans by informing them that she’s been hospitalized. Though she has not cited the reason that led to her hospitalization, speculations are adrift that Ileana might have suffered from issues related to body dysmorphic disorder.
In one of her interviews, Ileana said that she suffers from body dysmorphic disorder since the age of 12 years. This disorder is a mental condition in which the patient self-perceives defects in his/her body and its appearance, and it can lead to a lot of distress to that person. Many patients with body dysmorphic disorder also experience occupational impairment.
She has made a collage of two pictures on Instagram Stories and wrote, “What a difference a day makes.” In the first pic, the actress is seen lying on the hospital bed. The next frame features Ileana smiling ear to ear at the camera. It seems the image was clicked after she was back home. The text attached to it read, “Also some lovely doctors and 3 bags of IV fluid.”
Ileana was once a leading heroine in Telugu with some amazing blockbusters like Pokiri, Kushi, and Julayi to her credit. However, the actress stayed away from Tollywood after entering Bollywood where she couldn’t taste much success.
