The highly-anticipated Pan India Superstar Prabhas is all set to make his mark as “Salaar.” After several delays, the filmmakers have now officially locked in the release date with a striking poster. This high-octane action extravaganza is set to hit the screens on December 22nd. The first installment of the much-talked-about action-thriller, “Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire,” is currently in its final stages of post-production.
With all aspects expected to be wrapped up by November, the team is determined to avoid any last-minute hiccups. They are taking the time to ensure everything is perfectly prepared for the release. Interestingly, the chosen date coincides with the Christmas holiday, making it a long weekend. Despite the release of Shahrukh Khan’s “Dunki” on the same day, the makers of “Salaar” have decided to go ahead, setting the stage for a box office battle.
The release date was unveiled with a poster that showcases Prabhas in a rugged and intense avatar, drenched in blood while gripping a machete. The poster itself is sensational, with Prabhas exuding a menacing and lethal presence. This much-hyped action-packed film, directed by Prashanth Neel, features an ensemble cast, with Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran portraying the antagonist Varadharaja Mannaar. Jagapathi Babu plays the character of Raja Mannaar, and Shruti Haasan takes on the role of Aadya, the female lead in the film.
