Bellamkonda’s Chatrapathi gets the release date

Tollywood’s young hero Bellamkonda Sreenivas is all set to make his Bollywood debut with a straight Hindi movie, Chatrapathi, which is a remake of Prabhas’ blockbuster film of the same name. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker VV Vinayak, the movie was launched in July 2021 and has now grabbed attention once again with its official release date announcement. The film will hit theaters worldwide on May 12, 2023, with Sreenivas playing the lead role.

The first-look poster of the film has also been released, featuring Sreenivas in a fierce and muscular avatar. He is seen standing in water with a copper bowl in hand and wearing sacred threads around his neck and arm. His back is covered in injuries, symbolizing the aggression of his character. The female lead in the movie is played by Nushrratt Bharuccha, while Sahil Vaid, Amit Nair, Rajendra Gupta, Shivam Patil, Swapnil, Ashish Singh, Mohammad Monajir, Auroshika Dey, Vedika, Jason, and others play supporting roles.

The film has already wrapped up its production and is currently in the post-production stage. The script for the remake has been written by KV Vijayendra Prasad, the original writer of Chatrapathi. Dr. Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios is producing the project, while Dhaval Jayantilal Gada and Aksshay Jayantilal Gada of Pen Marudhar Cine Entertainment will distribute the movie worldwide. The filmmakers have spared no expense and have made the film on a grand scale. The music for the film is composed by Tanishk Bagchi.
