Review:

Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi is a fun film involving four buddies, with no serious motive. Coming from Pelli Choopulu director, the film is riding high on expectations. Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi has got shades of Hangover series.

The film has some crazy comedy with uncanny deeds of the friends. First half is all about character intro and their back stories. Mostly they hang-out in a bar or so boozing all the time. Nevertheless, fun has been evoked with their silly antics after rounds, but the overdose of which gives a hangover to the audience.

Second half the film shifts to Goa and the story revolves round the shortfilm that they make. The laidback attitude displayed by the friends also reflect in the screenplay that it moves at a snail pace beating around the bush with no objective. From pre-climax it’s a drag on too long gauging patience.

Technically:

Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi is well made with decent production values at a shoe-string budget. Music is in sync with the fanatic mood of the film. The weird camera angles with shaky shots add to all the madness. Tharun Bhascker comes up with a urban chic comedy but messes it with no trace.

Performances:

Abhinav Gomatam’s comedy is the main asset of the movie. It’s a hilarious treat with his item expressions and killer punch dialogues. Sushanth Reddy is a ditto of Vijay Deverakonda in act and dialogue delivery. Vishwaksen Naidu is decent as a volatile guy. Anisha and Simran are okay.

Bottom-line: Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi – Short film Hangover
