Film celebs condemn TV5 anchor's vulgar comments

Tollywood stands united in their fight against media’s continuous hounding on film celebs over their personal relationships and casting couch. The film stars and filmmakers held meeting on Tuesday evening protesting against TV5 Vice President Sambasiva Rao making offensive comments on film celebs. Emotional Lakshmi Manchu said,” Film industry comes out in support of people when there is any calamity. I know there are several spoof videos circulating on me but I have been ignoring. But its hightime now. A prominent reporter speaks foul language on actors in prime time and media remains silence.”

Rakul Preet Singh said,” I have been proud of TFI. My parents don’t understand Telugu. What if they come to know of what the news reader has abused about us. I have been asked about casting couch on several occasions. I take this as an opportunity to tell you that I have never encountered casting couch.”
