Filmmaker S. Shankar 3D sci-fi entertainer 2.0 is all set for a grand audio launch today at Burj Khalifa, the team yesterday had press meet, where the team came in helicopters for a press meet at the Burj Al Arab.
When a reporter asked Akshay how excited he is about making his Tamil foray and that to2.o as an anti-hero. But before he could answer, Shankar responded: “I would like to say it’s not a Tamil film, it’s an Indian film”
“What I was supposed to say, Shankar sir has already said. Yes, I am playing an anti-hero, but it’s been an honour to get beaten by Rajini sir. It’s a great and different experience I have had while doing this film.
The film is directed by Shankar starring superstar Rajinikanth, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar,the music is composed by Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman and producer Allirajah Subaskaran of Lyca Productions
Shankar and his film unit want it to be known as an Indian film instead of a Tamil project. Which is a good sign as the boundaries for the film industries seems to be adding away by the big projects.
