Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is performing Chandi Yagam in Erravalli village in Gajwel constituency. KCR started the Yagam by performing Ganapati puja and ‘Gopuja’. He along with his family performed Maha Rudra Yagashala, BhagalaMukhi Yagashala rituals as part of Chandi Yagam under supervision of Visakha Sarada Peeth seer Shri Swaroopanandendra Saraswati who flew to Hyderabad from Visakhapatnam in a special flight sent by Telangana CMO.
Jagadguru Srungeri Peeth seer Bharathi Theerthaswamy also graced the event at blessed Telanana CM. Nearly 500 priests chanted hymns on the occasion. 1000 priests will be performing ‘Havan’. KCR has started the Sahasra Chandi Yagam for wellbeing of the state.
