Orvakal Airport near Kurnool has been tested. A flight from Begumpet landed in Orvakal green field airport on Monday. Banaganapalle MLA BC Janardhan Reddy said that the airport will be open to public from January 7th. It will be third airport in Rayalaseema region. Travel to Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad will get easy from Kurnool. The airport will boost Orvakal in turning into a industrial hub.
