Wife of Ram is directed by Vijay Yelakanti, an associate of the Baahubali director. Lakshmi Manchu plays the role of a strong woman named Deeksha. She is seen searching for her lost husband. Bigg Boss 2 contestant Samrat Reddy played her husband in the movie.
The actress denied rumours that the film is inspired from Vidya Balan’s Bollywood film ‘Kahaani’. As per censor report, Wife of Ram will be an edge-of-the-seat thriller with racy screenplay. Censor members have showered praises on the movie. The film also features Priyadarshi, Aadarsh Balakrishna and Raghu Dixit.
