Gayatri team held success meet today. Speaking on the occasion Mohan Babu said that the film has been received well especially by family audience. The versatile actor expressed his concerns over piracy of the film circulating since the day of release. “As a producer I’m deeply disheartened. Piracy is killing the art of cinema and the artistes. I appeal to public not to watch pirated version and save cinema. Governments should take necessary action to curb piracy. Those who do piracy also have families like all of us. So, they should think twice before resorting to such illegal activities that will harm thousands of families whose livelihood is cinema.”
Gayatri is family drama blended with crime and suspense. The film directed by Madan released on Friday and garnered good word of mouth. Mohan Babu’s intense performance is the highlight of the movie. Hard-hitting dialogues slamming political scenario have grabbed special attention to the film. The dialogues like ‘Atavi Sakha Mantri ki Jatiya pakshi Ento Teliyadu’ and ‘Sarvabhoumaadhikaram Analeka BowBow Annavallu Mana Mantrulu’ are going viral on social media.
Mohan Babu said that he didn’t target any political party through his dialogues as being twisted by some section of media. “I belong to no party. Those dialogues were written by Paruchuri Gopala Krishna and Diamond Ratnababu. As an actor it is my duty to deliver them on screen,” said he. Gayatri also has Vishnu Manchu in a crucial role. His subtle performance has been receiving applause. Shriya paired Vishnu in this film. S Thaman scored melodious songs continue to top the charts.
