Rajinikanth is a pan-India superstar who has phenomenal fan following. His swag and mass appeal is unparalleled. Fans would never be enough with Rajini’s style but the 66-year-old actor is prepping up for his political foray. Many fear that it could mean the end of his film career.
However, latest grapevine in Chennai circles suggests something contrast. Accordingly, Thalaiva is going to do five more films. Petta which is set for Jan 11th release is Rajini’s 165th film. His next has already been announced with AR Murugadoss.
Rajini’s 167th film is going to be directed by Suresh Krisna who directed Baasha. 168th has been allocated to KS Ravikumar and 169th again with Karthik Subbaraj. Guess what? His 170th which would be his last film is given to none other than Baahubali director SS Rajamouli.
All these five films would take atleast 3 years to complete so it will be 2021 which is when he will quit films and dedicate to politics. On the flipside, there is another buzz doing rounds that Rajinikant will continue acting till 2025 which is when he completes 50 years in the film industry having made his debut in 1975. So, it will be his golden jubilee year.
