Rajinikanth Kaala First Day Collections

Kaala first day collections haven’t been that great. The film didn’t do expected wonders at box-office deceiving Superstar Rajinikanth stamina. Rajinikanth has relied on Pa Ranjith despite Kabali’s mediocre performance. Kaala has estimated to have collected just over 25 crore.

The film grossed just over half million in US which quite less compared to even Kabali. Kaala has made nearly 200 crore pre-release business in the form of theatrical rights. It is backrolled by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films.

However, Kaala has a reason to cherish as it has beat Vijay’s Mersal record in Chennai by collecting 1.76crore on day 1. Mersal collected 1.52 crore while Ajith’s Vivegam collected 1.21 crore on release day in the city. Kaala not having complete release in Karnataka also dampened box-office numbers. Kaala collected 2.60 crore in Telugu states.
